I am not making anymore money because there is a freeze at work ...

he is a jerk.  I've cancelled my rent check for aug so hopefully it goes through before he tries to cash aug's rent.
i've emailed about an apartment it's 800 a month including all utilities! so that rocks. cross your fingers I can get it and I don't have to move in with my sister and her brood of people!

so Dad's lung surgery is now Sept 16th.. after he recovers from that they will be doing his heart surgery.   Cross your fingers for me everyone and if you think of it send a prayer up for him on the 16th!

well my dad finally had surgery today! yay he's in recovery and seems to be doing ok.  the dr's removed half his left lung and one of his ribs (so they could get his lung out) and  they also took some lymph nodes for testing. 
we had some good news on his heart.. he only has one artery that's partially blocked so the dr's arn't sure if they are going to let it be or do a stint down the road.

thank you to everyone who prayed for him. I'm excited I'm going Saturday to see him and I wanna hug him tight I won't be but I'll be giving him a big ole smooch on the cheek..   I'll feel even more better when I see him face to face.

Just got back from seeing my dad.. he's kicking some ass with his healing time  all his tubes but for his drain tube(for the fluid on his lung) is out.. yesterday he went for  a couple short walks.. and his coloring is really good. to get him to do his breathing excersises though I had to threaten to quit my job and move home.. that got him motivated to do his breathing!   He says his pain level is a 0-2 and the only time it hurts is when he has to cough. so that's good.

found out last night he had a bit of a setback.. I guess when they operated they nicked some membrane that's in your lung and it's not healing properly on dad.. so he's going to be in the hospital for a bit longer.. and now I went to my bosses and said I need time off (for a week at max we hope) because my sister has to go back to work and they are giving me the run around *grumbles*
